If you have already used this style of notetaking in your teaching, then you know how much fun it can be! The main difference from traditional notetaking is that Interactive Notetaking lets students pause, process and interact with the lesson on their terms, rather than simply copying down notes. By adding in creative things such as flaps that open, moveable parts and pieces, colorful images and pages to color in, it really personalizes the learning process for kids because they are involved in creating a notebook to reflect what they are learning.
